Dear running friends. We have a fellow runner who is in desperate need for prayers right now. Tracy Mooney was flown to HarborView in Seattle late last night after suffering a stroke. Some of you know her well and know what a beautiful person inside and out she is. Please pray for her healing and for comfort to be provided to her young family. Tracy, we love you and are hurting so much. God bless you and heal you now.
If you have told me you want a shirt, fear not, we will eventually order them. We have decided to find a new vendor since the ‘fit’ of our last shirt was a bit…..well, let’s just call if funky for fun. Once we have a vendor selected we’ll let you know!

I am actually the race director for this event and I hope to see you all there (even if you can only volunteer – and we need volunteers!!!). Liz Duncan was an amazing Woman of God, and a friend. This event will mark the 5th anniversary of her departure for Home. If you can volunteer let me know, want to learn more about Liz go here or register for her race!!!
We need 5 more shirt orders and I can place the order!! Who else wants one (or two)?! I can get them in different colors too!
<check out the link for the color options>
Q: How do you figure out start times?
A: We assign start times based upon your team’s average pace. It is therefore CRITICAL that all of your teammates enter their correct pace. This pace is the pace (min/mile) that they would run a 10K race (for Ultra teams use a 1/2 Marathon). If your teammates may have entered incorrect, exaggerated, or sandbagged paces they should login to their Ragnar user accounts and enter a realistic 10K min/mile race pace (again – 1/2Marathon for Ultra teams). Team captains do not have the ability to update/change their runners’ paces; it must be done by the individual runners themselves.
I’m going to be placing another Running to Glorify Shirt order; if you don’t have one or want an extra let me know (and what size), if you are on our Ragnar team and don’t have one you’ll want to get one as it will be our team shirt. They are $20 (if we can get a decent sized order).
…and even if you’ve told me you want one please confirm again so that I make sure to get the right size for you. 🙂
July 19 – 22 Ragnar(Blaine, WA to Whidbey Island)
running to Glorify is officially registered for Ragnar! If you have previously committed to being on this team check your email and create a profile on the Ragnar website. I looked through the running positions/legs and have a prelim list on where I think each of us will fit. Once you accept the invitation to run from your email, I’ll update the list so you can see what I was thinking and if you have angst, then we can work around it.
– Stay tuned for a Ragnar team meeting soon!
